Ambee partners with VitalFlo to provide respiratory health monitoring solution

Ambee, a platform for hyperlocal environmental data, has partnered with US-based digital health company VitalFlo, to provide air quality data and respiratory health monitoring solutions.

VitalFlo is a digital health company that helps clinical teams measure and monitor the respiratory health of their patients. Using environmental data collected by Ambee, VitalFlo enables clinical teams to provide proactive and responsive management of respiratory diseases and conditions. Through advanced trends, patient status alerts, and detailed analytics, clinicians can forecast potential environmental triggers and adjust patient action plans accordingly, improving the quality of life for all those afflicted.

Air pollution continues to be a major public health concern around the world. According to a report by the American Thoracic Society, children and adults with lung disorders such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), newborn infants, and the elderly are at a higher risk of developing health problems due to outdoor air pollution. Higher levels of air pollution are linked to decreased lung function, asthma attacks, COPD exacerbations, and much more. The first step towards mitigating the impact of air pollution is being aware of
the air we breathe. Ambee air quality data helps visualize and quantify ambient air pollution at any given location, down to the postcode and
neighborhood level.

Commenting on the partnership, Jaideep Singh Bachher, CEO, Ambee said, “VitalFlo and Ambee have a shared vision to improve the lives of people that are affected by climate change and poor air quality. We are excited to partner with a brand so deeply involved in improving the experience of those living with chronic respiratory disease. With Ambee data, clinicians can better identify environmental triggers and create
personalized patient treatment plans.”

“As a company focused on respiratory health, it’s crucial for us to be monitoring the ways that air quality can impact the health outcomes of our asthma and COPD patients,” added Luke Marshall, CEO, and Founder, VitalFlo.
