Asian antivirus conference AVAR 2013 to be held in Chennai

K7 Computing, a privately held provider of protection solutions, will host AVAR 2013, one of the largest antivirus conferences in the world, from 4 to 7 December 2013, in Chennai. AVAR is an acronym for Association of Anti-Virus Asia Researchers.

Currently in its 16th edition, this is the first time that the conference is being held in India.

The conference will feature some of the world’s foremost thought leaders from companies such as Microsoft, Symantec, and Kaspersky, who will share their vision for the security industry.

The conference targets anyone who is interested in safe and secure computing, including those with business or technical needs, IT professionals, students, educators, law enforcement officials and legislators.

Previous AVAR conferences have been held in Japan, China and Australia.
