Canon India has announced the installation of the hundredth imagePRESS C7010VP at Dharam Reprographic in Delhi. Launched in 2007, the imagePRESS platform was developed entirely within Canon.
Dr Alok Bharadwaj, Sr VP, Canon India, said, “It gives me immense pride to announce the hundredth installation of imagePRESS C7010VP in a span of five years. With imagePRESS C7010VP, we aimed at partnering with customers to help them build their businesses with the use of state-of-the-art technologies and offering them business efficiency and increased profitability.”
“With this our first lap comes to a successful end. We are gearing up to take the second lap of the next hundred devices in half the time,” he added.
Puneet Datta, Assistant Director, Production Printing Division, said, “The Digital Printing landscape in India is growing at the rate of 25% per annum. Even though there are tough economic situation prevailing in the country, there has been robust growth in digital printing in 1H 2012.”
The demand for digital printing in India is growing at 25% CAGR and has grown 30% in H1 2012.
