Capgemini India, a leading global provider of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, has announced that it has won a contract for design and implementation of Shared Services Center (SSC) for JSW group — a $11 billion conglomerate.
The SSC will be an integrated platform that will bring together critical functions across business units such as finance and accounts, procurement, supply chain management and human resources. The work will involve consolidation of common back office functions for group companies, standardization of processes and functions across locations, as well as better governance and control.
Seshagiri Rao, Joint Managing Director & Group CFO, JSW Group said, “We expect Capgemini to support JSW Group in reducing costs and gaining flexibility by the implementation of a robust and scalable shared service delivery platform for JSW Steel, JSW Cement, JSW Energy and JSW Infrastructure business.”
