FUJIFILM India announced the launch of its new portable broadcast zoom lens, the FUJINON HZK14-100mm (Duvo Portable), at the 33rd edition of the Broadcast India Show. As the third lens in the Duvo series, following the FUJINON HZK25-1000mm (Duvo Box) and FUJINON HZK24-300mm portable lens, and the first wide zoom model, this lens is designed to deliver cinematic-quality visuals while maintaining the smooth, reliable operation of broadcast lenses. Targeted at filmmakers and broadcasters, the FUJINON HZK14-100mm provides an ideal balance of image quality and practical functionality, making it a versatile tool for various productions.
The FUJINON HZK14-100mm is a compact, lightweight dual-format lens designed for large image sensors, boasting of 7.1x Zoom, offering a 14-100mm focal range in Super 35. With the built-in 1.5x expander, it extends to 21-150mm, providing coverage for 16:9 in large-format cameras. Weighing just 2.54kg and measuring 266.9mm, it’s the most portable in the Duvo series. This lens delivers cinematic visuals with beautiful bokeh, using advanced aspheric elements and Super-ED lenses. It offers seamless broadcast-style operation and is compatible with third-party cinema accessories, making it versatile for both broadcast and cinematic production.
The FUJINON HZK14-100mm offers a range of advanced features, making it a standout in broadcast and cinematic production. Designed for cinematic visuals, the lens incorporates high-quality aspheric elements and Super-ED lenses, which reduce aberrations and deliver beautiful cinematic footage with stunning bokeh, even at a maximum aperture of T2.9. Its operational flexibility is enhanced with a broadcast-style drive unit for seamless zoom and focus, and it is fully compatible with third-party accessories commonly used in cinema production.
