Fujitsu achieves virtualization world record with the PRIMERGY BX924 S3 Generation

Fujitsu  announced that its PRIMERGY BX Blade Servers provide a faster, simpler and lower-cost way to build and run an IT infrastructure in medium-sized companies, branch offices or large data centers. Fujitsu PRIMERGY achieved new record for dual-socket servers in VMware VMmark 2.1.1, where the system achieved a result of 10.94@10 tiles 1. The VMmark result was achieved by Fujitsu PRIMERGY BX924 S3 server blades, each with 256 GB of memory, using Intel Xeon E5-2690 processors.

Fujitsu PRIMERGY Blade Servers enable customers to consolidate the number of servers, components and simultaneously reduce investment costs. Business agility is supported through simple, modular design and useful features that help reduce deployment time to hours or minutes. The PRIMERGY BX Blade Servers offer increased performance in virtualized environments compared to other systems which further improves competitiveness and generates the potential for better business results.
