HP today announced a new portfolio of application transformation software and services solutions to support organizations to deliver a rich user experience that attracts, engages and retains customers, citizens and employees – anywhere, anytime, from any device.
With growing focus towards mobile devices and application development, HP’s new application transformation software and services portfolio is not only aimed at customers of enterprises but also for its own employees.
According to Sudhir Rao, Chief Technologist & Strategist, Enterprise Services HP India, today applications are now the face of an organization, however the traditional or core applications layer of enterprises are designed to connect with customers and employees.
“Hence its important for these enteprises to have a platform for application transformation that is simple in nature, more engaging that offers an intuitive experience. HP’s new application transformation software and services portfolio provides end-to-end tools to enterprise for better visibility and engagement with customers,” Rao added.
HP user experience design services help clients design,develope and deploy engagin applications that provide a simple, intuitive user experience internally and externally.
The new offering from HP allows applications over multiple platforms and devices more in an integrated and visible way for engaging the users. Company’s applications strategy is focused on delievering a simplified architecture that enables clients to create innovative and intuitive applications that easily integrate with their traditional and cloud based environments.
As a result, clients will reduce development costs, speed time to market for new applications, increase customer satisfaction and unlock new sources of revenue and innovation.
As applications are now the face of an organization, there are two sides faced by enterprise – the applicatons on the one side while the user experience and performation of applications is on the otherside; and the later throws major challengesfor enterprises, according to Parag Amalnerkear, Country Marketing Manager, HP Software, India.
However with the HP Anywhere software platform, enterprises can address those challenges. It enable developers and organizations to design, build and distribute intuitive enterprise mobile applications that integrate securely with back-end systems,while supporting bring-your-own-device (BYOD) initiatives.
“It uses the container structure security mechanism wherein the employee gets selective or restrict access of enterprise applications, while the end users will have the two-factor authentication for secured access,” explained Amalnerkear.
In fact, the latest HP Real User Monitoring (RUM) 10.01 software for monitoring the user experience of mobile applications running on the Android platform. While, the HP Performance Anywhere software as a service for monitoring the performance and availability of mobile applciations and wireless networks.
Though company didn’t reveal the number of customers for its new offering, it suggested that there’s a good potential over the next 3-4 years and sectors such as banking, manufacturing, automobiles and citizen centric services will see high demand of application transformation software and services.
