Juniper Networks, today announced the appointment of Hansjoerg Wagner as Senior Vice President, Asia-Pacific (APAC), based in Singapore. He will report to Vince Molinaro, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales.
In his new role, Wagner will be responsible for all aspects of Juniper’s business activities across the Asia-Pacific region, including customer engagement, sales development, training and enablement, strategic planning and revenue growth.
He succeeds Douglas Murray, who spent more than two years as Senior Vice President, APAC, and will return to the U.S. as a member of Juniper’s Customer Leadership Team, reporting to Molinaro. Wagner brings more than 20 years’ experience in field execution, in both service provider and enterprise industries, to his role.
He was most recently at Polycom where he held several senior leadership roles, including president, APAC, and Senior Vice President, Global Field Operations. His responsibilities encompassed providing strategic direction for all Polycom operations in APAC as well as other emerging markets, including CALA. Prior to joining Polycom in May 2006, Hansjoerg served as managing director of Packeteer Asia Pacific (now BlueCoat).
