Overture expands operations in India

U.S. based carrier ethernet solutions firm Overture has announced that it is exploring growth opportunities for its Bangalore Engineering Center as part of the company’s ongoing global expansion plans. The company projects substantial growth in 2014.
 
Overture entered the Indian market in May 2013 and since has been staffing the Bangalore development center with engineers to create carrier ethernet and network virtualization solutions for customers who are into providing communications services.
 
Prayson Pate, Chief Technology Officer, Overture, said, “Our aim is to augment the growth process of the India development facility located in the IT city of Bangalore and we plan to continue expanding our workforce and have significant investment plans in place for India”.

He added, “Our Bangalore centre is evolving as an essential component of our organization’s mission and plays a key role in the overall growth. To continue to stay at the forefront of technology-based innovation, it is important to recruit talented engineers with skill sets that will drive our Carrier Ethernet and network virtualization solutions forward.”
