Revolabs joins hands with Presto

Revolabs, a US based manufacturer of wireless audio products for enterprise collaboration and professional audio applications, has announced its partnership with Presto Infosolutions Pvt Ltd, a value-added distributor, specializing in solutions based on various emerging technologies for government and enterprise customers in India and SAARC.

Revolabs offers products based on Unified Communications. “Unified Communications provides a seamless, consistent experience across multiple devices, applications, and environments from audio and video conferencing to real-time desktop communications,” said Roshan Gupta, Country Manager – India and Middle East, Revolabs.

The company has been in the Indian market for about two years and it has added Presto as its second distributor in addition to its existing distributor, Green Sources. With Presto, Revolabs plans to tap the government and defense segment.

Talking about the association with Revolabs, Krishan K Girdhar, Managing Director, Presto, said, “We have been associated with Revolabs for almost three quarters now and we have been pushing their products in the government segment. They have just launched wireless products based on unified communications which has great value for private companies as well as government organizations as it helps in collaborative working. With this unique offering in the market, the company has been able to churn some decent revenue.”

Presto, which has about 65-70 national channel partners, plans to spread awareness about Revolabs products through media releases, advertisements etc. “A lot of customers require the products launched by Revolabs but are unaware of the availability of such products,” he said.

Talking about challenges in the Indian market, Gupta of Revolabs said, “The depreciation of rupee has made our products quite expensive. Although it’s a common problem faced by most companies, yet the going gets a little tougher with this. Secondly, what we offer is a new concept, so awareness is a major issue. We have to develop a culture for these products among Indian companies.”
