Ruckus, Sprint CNS team up to deliver smarter Wi-Fi to businesses

Ruckus Wireless is teaming with Sprint’s Custom Network Solutions (CNS) group to deliver its smart Wi-Fi products and services as part of Sprint CNS’s in-building wireless data solutions portfolio. Sprint CNS is expanding its suite of in-building mobile solutions with the full complement of Ruckus indoor and outdoor smart Wi-Fi products.

Sprint’s Custom Network Solutions integrate all the hardware, software, network transport and professional integration services needed to improve in-building coverage and capacity for small, medium and large business customers.

Working together to initially tailor custom network Solutions to five key vertical markets – hospitality, education, healthcare, retail and warehousing.

With Ruckus Smart Wi-Fi, Sprint CNS customers can expect greater user productivity in-building through more reliable wireless connectivity, stronger signals and extended Wi-Fi coverage. The combined solution is ideal for challenging environments that experience erratic interference, high client densities and constant user mobility.

“With Ruckus, we’re expanding our in-building wireless portfolio in CNS with proven carrier-class Wi-Fi technology at a time when reliable wireless connectivity has never been more important,” said Tim Donahue, Vice President-Solutions and International Sales, Sprint.

“Given the unprecedented importance that Wi-Fi now plays in a heterogeneous network topology, we want to give our enterprise and public sector customers the best possible wireless data experience in-building with products and technology purpose-built to deliver reliable, carrier-grade wireless performance,” he said.

“Like Sprint, we see carrier-grade smart Wi-Fi as an essential tool in today’s managed services arsenal,” said Selina Lo, President and CEO of Ruckus Wireless. “The combination of Ruckus Smart Wi-Fi products and technology with Sprint’s long-standing success in delivering high-quality wireless services is a compelling proposition for any enterprise looking to reduce costs and simplify their network service environment.”
