Samsung to focus on enterprise business

As part of focusing more on enterprise and SMBs segments, South Korean multinational Samsung Electronics has launched itsA3 multifunction printers in India. By strengthening its enterprise business,  Samsung is targeting to attain $400 billion revenue by 2020 globally. Currently the company generates  $200 billion of annual revenue in which 7-10% comes from the B2B segment.  “By 2020, we want 20% of our revenue from the enterprise segment,” said Sameer Garde, Sr. Vice President, Enterprise Business Team, Samsung India Electronics. “As enterprises rapidly expand their businesses, we want to empower them with innovative technology that helps them to evolve and grow their business with a competitive edge. Consumerization of IT and BYOD have become a big trend in the past few years.  This has prompted us to focus more on the enterprise segments.

Currently Samsung is offering a suite of enterprise devices and solutions that address all business needs across education, healthcare, hospitality, retail and financial sectors globallt. “Our entry into the A3 printer category is a confirmation of our commitment to offer new dimensions in printing solutions to both enterprise and SMBs,” Garde added.

Designed specifically to meet the needs of enterprise and SMBs, the newly launched printers, MultiXpress K2200 series,  comes fully loaded with features such as ergonomic design, compact size, advanced controls, high reliability, duplex printing and ease of operation. With this new series, the company is bullish about strengthening its position in these sectors and has developed an aggressive go-to-market strategy for tapping the market across top cities in the country.

Speaking about Samsung’s K2200 series Garde said, “The MultiXpress K2200 series is a highly efficient, cost effective and easy-to-use range of A3 MFPs. We will continue to introduce printing solutions that are customized for regional and user environments, thereby providing perfect products that satisfy local customer needs. Over the next fiscal, we plan to become a leading player in the A3 MFP market. Keeping in line with this aim, we will be focusing on establishing and consolidating our regional distribution channel as direct partners, for A3 printers.”
