Tech in HR: SHRM conference to focus on emerging technology for HR

The second edition of SHRM India HR Tech conference will focus on emerging technologies for HR domain

With the aim to discuss role of technology for human resource management and impart knowledge on how emerging technologies such as cloud, big data, virtualisation, mobile, analytics and internet of Things (IoT) could drive efficiency in HR domain, a conference and exposition is being organised in Mumbai.

The second edition of SHRM Tech conference is likely to bring over 650 delegates for 15 transformation session on latest tech buzz and 40 organisations will display their products and services.

According to SHRM India, eminent speakers such as Jason Averbook, CEO, The Marcus Buckingham Co.; Anuranjita Kumar, Managing Director, Chief Human Resources Officer, Citi South Asia; Viresh Oberaoi, Founder CEO and MD, Mjunction Services ltd.; Dr. Sumit D Chowdhury, Founder CEO ‘Gaia Smart Cities’, Business Leader, Author & Motivational Speaker, Coach; Yuvraj Baghwala, VP- HR, Genpact; Kevin Freitas, Director, Global Recruiting & Rewards – InMobi; and Nishchae Suri, Partner & Head-People & Change Advisory- KPMG, India, will address the two days conference.

The two-day conference on 20-21 April, 2016 at Renaissance Hotel, Mumbai is being organised by Indian arm of The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), a professional human resources membership association headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia which works for promoting the role of HR as a profession and provides education, certification, and networking to its members, and work with government on issues pertinent to labour management.
