Telit Wireless Solutions, a global provider of machine-to-machine (M2M) solutions, products and services, has introduced five products for the Indian market. Launched during Telematics Update India 2013, these products come to strengthen the company’s position in India’s M2M space targeting segments which include automotive, energy, telematics, and telemetry.

Recently launched LE910 is Telit’s first LTE module delivered in the xE910 product family following the LE920 LTE automotive-grade module announced last year. Entry level HSPA UE910 V2 module brings dual-band 3G plus GSM/GPRS/EDGE support delivering 3.6Mbps downlink data rate. Newly released combo product, GE910-GNSS is the company’s first combination GSM/GPRS cellular module embedding a multi-constellation GPS/GLONASS receiver. Latest CDMA offering, the CE910-SC is an 800MHz single band CDMA 1xRTT specifically tailored for most of the CDMA networks in the APAC region requiring R-UIM card technology. And the LE70-868 MHz short-range wireless module targeting the multi-kilometer range wired-to-wireless network migration market arrives to support application areas such as solar/wind farms and agricultural automation.

In India, Telit plans to continue expanding the value it brings to the various vertical segments with new products and services in the machine-to-machine communication space and the Internet of Things. The company plans to collaborate with OEM/Design partners and collectively participate in implementation of government initiated M2M based projects. Apart from that, the company aims to increase penetration in the small-to-medium enterprise customer base securing growing number of new M2M applications.

Ashish Gulati Country Manager, Telit Wireless Solutions said, “Telit is the one-stop-shop for all M2M requirements and India is one of the key markets for the company, as it holds immense potential for such solutions. We aim to increase our presence in various industry verticals and partner with government in relevant projects.”
