Teradata has announced the opening of its third Global Consulting Center (GCC) in India. The new center, located in Magarpatta City Special Economic Zone, will cater to Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Tom Crooke, Vice President, Teradata, Professional Services, EMEA, said, “We are excited to open our newest consulting center in India that’s focused exclusively on serving customers in the data warehousing and analytics market space. Our EMEA customers rely on Teradata consultants to help them meet the challenges associated with building and managing world-class data warehousing and data analytics systems.”
This expansion complements the company’s existing centers in India, one in Pune and the other in Powai, Mumbai, which was built in 2005. The vendor also has centers in China, the Philippines, Pakistan and the Czech Republic that support its global operations.
Ruth Rudwick, director, Teradata, EMEA Global Consulting Centers, commented, “Our choice of location was driven not only by our customers, but also by the success of the existing Pune center.”
Teradata centers are staffed by full-time Teradata employees who have full access to the best practices and knowledge repositories of the Teradata support and engineering groups. In addition, Teradata’s GCC employees are focused exclusively on the data warehousing and business intelligence topic areas.
