On the camera front, Redmi Note 3 comes with 16-megapixels rear camera and 5-megapixels front camera. Camera section is equipped with phase detection auto-focus (PDAF) for faster focusing, as well as local tone mapping, for adjusting contrast at a pixel level to deliver images with better contrast levels.
As far as battery life is concern, Redmi Note 3 packs a 690Wh/L high-density 4050mAh battery. Company says, due to innovative internal design, Redmi Note 3 weighs just 164g and measures 8.65mm despite the massive battery. The device also supports 5V/2A Qualcomm Quick Charge technology, charging up to 50% in one hour and taking only three hours for a full charge.
The device supports all Indian LTE bands including LTE Band 5 which allows users to fully utilise the Voice over LTE (VoLTE) technology. Redmi Note 3 also has fingerprint sensor which uses capacitive scanning technology for accurate, secure and fast performance, unlocking the device in just 0.3 seconds. There are a number of useful fingerprint sensor features incorporated into MIUI 7, including the ability to lock apps, access hidden folders, and even take a front or rear camera selfie using just your fingerprint, informs the company.
