Zoho, a pioneer in the global SaaS space, has made a foray into the Indian market, with its suite of business, productivity and collaboration products on the Cloud including Zoho CRM, Zoho Sites, the Zoho Docs suite and the Zoho Mail suite.
According to a survey released by Zinnov Management Consulting, titled Indian SMB ICT adoption insights SMBs will grow at a CAGR of 15% by 2015, contributing $15 billion or over one-third of India’s overall IT spend.
The study noted that India is home to around 50 million SMBs of which 10 million are technology-ready. This addressable market opportunity will increase to 11 million by 2015, it added.
A Gartner report revealed that the global SaaS market is set to reach $14.5 billion in 2012 and with 11.89 million broadband users today in India, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) is transforming the way businesses function. With a do-it-yourself website builder (Zoho Sites); CRM software (Zoho CRM); an online document management suite (Zoho Docs) and a professional e-mail service (Zoho Mail), Zoho is ready to help put Indian SMBs on the map.
