[1] If we really want to use AI in healthcare we need to have interdisciplinary experts.
[2] Across the globe healthcare is extremely complex because technology adoption in this sector is slow. Do not think that AI can be quickly adopted by this industry, it needs to first go through phases of development, testing, and safety protocols considering the criticality of the industry
[3] There’s a potential to develop AI & ML based tools in various areas. From screening of diseases to diagnosis, from helping doctor’s in enhancing precision to helping patients with a regular update on their health data, and more.
[4] It is important for us to collect and analyse structured data on various processes for effective digitalization. However, unstructured data like prescriptions, lab test results, etc. is also equally important.
[5] In the last 8 months we’ve been able to screen a significant number of women in Punjab through breast thermogram for breast cancer.
