Nagaland is the only state in India, where the state IT department is running the SDC without engaging with a private data centre operator; and also the first state to start a pilot project for National Information Infrastructure (NII) and introduce an Aadhaar-based biometric system in the state civil secretariat. In his session, K D Vizo, Commissioner & Secretary – IT, Government of Nagaland expresses that today, governments can’t afford to isolate themselves from digital technologies.
