Digital imaging company Epson announced the launch of its new M-series range of Mono Ink Tank Inkjet printers. The M-series range of monochrome inkjet printers are for corporates who primarily print black and white documents, and who demand the lowest running costs possible along with crisp print quality.
Epson says its M-series printers can print at just one third the cost of even low quality refilled laser toners used in laser printers. That’s just 12 paise a page for black & white prints. No laser printer can match this level of printing economy. Epson says it also understands that Indian corporates need printers that save electricity, and the M series uses one fourth of the electricity of equivalent laser printers. For cost and environmentally conscious organizations this can amount to a lot.
These new business inkjet printers will help Epson in achieving an important goal of the company’s midterm strategy to 2015 – which is to grow its business printing market with inkjet models that match or outperform similarly priced laser printers and offer customers up to unbeatable cost per page.

Featuring Epson’s unique ink tank system technology, the Epson M-series printers are able to print a very high volume of 8000 pages with the initial bundle of inks, and 6000 pages for each bottle of refill ink. This helps to minimize work disruption for refilling of the printers. The printers also provide assured reliability with their long life span rated at 50,000 pages.
