Roamware has announced the launch of RWisdom, a roaming big data analytics solution for mobile operators, in collaboration with IBM.
RWisdom helps operators leverage their most valuable, yet under utilized asset – data. With RWisdom, operators can exponentially improve their roaming revenues with dynamic Big Data driven insights on roaming subscriber behavior. RWisdom also enables operators to open up new revenue streams by offering dynamic location specific insights on subscriber behavior in an information-as-a-service model to industries such as retail, travel and financial services to name a few.
Roamware is building RWisdom on IBM’s big data platforms including both IBM InfoSphere BigInsights and IBM InfoSphere Streams platforms. Roamware selected these IBM big data technologies as industry-proven middleware platforms to deliver real-time analytics, data processing and data management capabilities to enhance RWisdom, while providing the ability to manage and analyze the volume, variety and velocity of big data seen in mobile operator environments, in a secure and reliable manner. The RWisdom solution will also leverage IBM Analytics Accelerators – analytic engines integrated into these IBM platforms optimized for the Telecom industry.
