While we spend a lot of time on our devices—laptops, mobile phones, tablets, now even wearable bands and smartwatches—primarily to be super-organised in work and personal lives, alas if only we had a personal assistant to handle all of life’s nuances. Looking at numerous personal assistant mobile apps out there in the market, it seems like we’re in luck. Sure, you could ask Siri personal assistant for Apple iPhones just about anything, but a homegrown chat-based personal assistant app called Helpchat is equally efficient to help you organise your life.

Basically Helpchat, a 600-plus people company with offices in Bangalore, New Delhi and Mumbai, recently announced the launch of its mobile application for Android and iOS platforms. Earlier, the firm which had raised R100 crore from Sequoia Capital in May 2015, used to have only Web presence. “We’re here to end the biggest battle of our daily lives—the one against tasks. We want to improve people’s capability to finish a lot more of their chores in their daily life, by sharing the actual hassle of doing it.” says Ankur Singla, CEO & founder, Helpchat.
How the app works? It’s fairly simple and straight forward: a user can click on any of the “tiles” on the home screen or can start chatting with their personal assistant right from the home screen. Put simply, ask anything and get it done. Helpchat allows a user to ask anything and everything to the already created channels of companies like—Coupon Dunia, Foodpanda, Snapdeal, PayTm, BookMyShow, Aircel, Voltas, Eureka Forbes, MakeMyTrip, Bookmyshow, Oyo Rooms, Spice Mobiles etc.
Company officials inform that Helpchat has been developed in order to simplify consumer experience in a world complicated by information and choice where every little task demands time and attention. It can perform tasks like suggest your next purchase, order a laundry service, book a restaurant table, tech support to locating a medical specialist, hail a cab, or arrange a gift for someone in the family, all are as simple as a few taps on the screen.
An indication of its wide acceptance can be made out from the fact that more than 100 local businesses in Bengaluru (Kormangala and Indiranagar) across categories like fitness, laundry and beauty are using Helpchat to help their customers. The app has already recorded more than a million downloads across both the platforms and handles over 50,000 requests a day.The Helpchat app is available for free download on Google Playstore and iOS Store.
