AB Pharmaceuticals is in the business of distribution of pharmaceutical product since 2013. The company deal with 90 different products sourced from 4 suppliers based in India,Germany and the USA. In a story span of three years, its business operations has expanded to serve 6 cities in Kenya.
Dr. Ashish Bhavsar, Owner, of AB Pharmaceuticals had been a QuickBooks user for close to 9 years, even before he ventured into AB Pharmaceuticals. One of the challenges that he was constantly facing was determining the right amount of commission for his huge salesforce. Also, there was no feature in the product that supported compliance as per the KRA(Kenya Revenue Authority)guideline.

Owing to ease of use, Bhavsar started operating the software himself, managing all his accounts and inventory related operations through it. After deployment, AB Pharmaceuticals was able to determine the right amounts of commission to be given to its salesmen. “Filing VAT returns and recording sales and purchase orders became a matter of minutes. Managing batch-wise details seamlessly became additional boon for the business.
