Atos gets ISO 14001 environmental certification for four of its Atos | Syntel sites in India

Atos, announced that four of its largest sites in India, consolidated through the acquisition of Syntel in 2018, have achieved ISO 14001 environmental certification, which reflects the company’s commitment to use resources efficiently and responsibly and to measure and manage environmental impact of company decisions. This is in line with Atos Group standards, as almost 90% of its main offices and core datacenters are already certified or in the process of being certified at the end of 2019. These Atos | Syntel sites include two locations in Mumbai (SEEPZ and Airoli), as well as two global development campuses located in Pune and Chennai.

The new ISO 14001 certification addresses a wide range of environmental initiatives, including carbon reduction, energy consumption, travel impacts, and waste and recycling management across the four sites.
