Cisco, an American multinational corporation, has added AMP Threat Grid to its Advance Malware Protection (AMP) portfolio.
The new addition will give security professionals extensive intelligence and analysis on potential compromises and solutions to protect against, respond to and recover from attacks, said a statement by Cisco.
ThreadGRID which provides malware analysis and sandboxing technology was acquired by the Cicso last year to strengthen the FireAMP malware of the company.
The company claimed that the integration enable the latest malware threat intelligence and dynamic malware analysis capabilities, both on-premise and in the cloud.
Cisco also introduces incident response services that will equip organisations with teams of information security experts that utilise threat intelligence and best practices for readiness and response from network to endpoint to cloud.
“Armed with this insight, Cisco can significantly minimize the impact of a breach via proven readiness and response services,” said James Mobley, Vice President, Cisco Security Solutions Group.
