Cognizant, an American multinational corporation, has been selected by Purdue Pharma L.P., a pharmaceutical company to optimise core IT platform to improve business efficiency and drive enterprise agility, said a statement from Cognizant.
To manage its complete range of business applications on the SAP platform, including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality systems, Purdue Pharma is working with Cognizant to simplify and standardise its core application processes and create an environment for enhanced collaboration among its entire ecosystem.
Cognizant will help extend Purdue’s core SAP and integrated application suite within the timelines defined by the project team for manufacturing commercial batches in the new plant at Durham County, North Carolina, informs the company.
