A day-long workshop to train employees on various e-governance initiatives including Digital India will be organised next month by the Centre.
“The aim of the workshop is to generate awareness about the various provisions of e-governance and to enable the government functionaries to delineate their role in the effective implementation of the programme,” an order by Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said.
The workshop, to be held on August 28, will cover IT infrastructure and e-governance related best and innovative practices. The participants will also be briefed on National Optic Fiber Network (NoFN) and Digital India, etc. “The workshop will be highly informative and interactive,” it said.
