Alstom in India has been an integral part the country’s rail revolution, providing solutions for various mobility projects. The engineering hubs in India, clocking over 6 million hours of Research & Development, second largest after France contributes to all domestic rail projects, in addition to delivering for many global projects. Alstom’s Sricity factory builds urban metro trains for the domestic market and exports to countries like Australia and Canada, with most part of the engineering being done out of Bangalore.
Alstom values curious and innovative people who are passionate about working together to reinvent mobility, making it smarter and more sustainable. Our R&D centers are backed by the immense talent pool that comes out of India every year, allowing for world-class innovation to be done indigenously. To further encourage and provide a platform for promising engineers of the country, Alstom has a well-structured Young Engineering Graduate Program (YEGP). Every year, over 150 fresh engineering graduates are recruited after a structured and rigorous campus hiring schedule in partnership with leading technical universities. As we continue to work with the government in enabling sustainable mobility in India, our engineers remain to be our strongest assets in executing these projects efficiently.
