Global Research and Advisory firm Gartner Inc’s two-day event “Gartner Application Architecture, Development and Integration Summit” went on floor this Monday in Mumbai. The summit was open to application developers, architects, portfolio managers, and application leaders.
The summit was an interaction opportunity with Gartner’s research experts, application leaders and solution providers from diverse industries to help attendees create better-researched strategies, applications, and models for the coming decade.
The sessions organised were around emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Data Integration, Microservices, Digital Twins and Application Development.
In a session held by Paul Vincent (Sr Director Analyst, Gartner) titled – “Navigate the strategic roadmap to the future of applications” he explains why should one move to a more product-centric delivery of applications rather than a project-centric release.
In another session held by Magnus Revang (VP Analyst, Gartner) he explores the past, present, and future of Chatbots and Virtual Assistants.
Gartner’s speakers included mainly their analysts, Joachim Herschmann (Sr Director Analyst), Adrian Leow (Sr Director Analyst), Mark O’Neill (VP Analyst), Ganesh Ramamoorthy (Managing Vice President), Magnus Revang (VP Analyst), to name a few.
There was also a strong presence of reputable personalities in the technology sphere such as Sachin Agarwal (Business Development Director, Zoho Creator), Suneeti Goel (Technical Head, CRIS), Dr. Pramod Verma (Chief Architect, Aadhaar & India Stack, CTO EkStep) and Goutham Parcha (Sr. Director- CRM, Pegasystems worldwide India).
This summit is a two-day event held in Mumbai on the 2nd and 3rd of March which focuses on design thinking, adopting disruptive and innovative technology and delves into skilling that complements digital transformation.
