HTC 10, the new flagship from the struggling Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, is all set to launch today, but a leaked video has given the Internet a good look at the smartphone. HTC is planning an online event for the launch of its new device. The latest video, which can be seen here, appears to be one of the promotional videos that HTC would have used to highlight the new ’10’ smartphone. The video shows that the smartphone has been crafted from a single block of aluminium, and also gives a glimpse at the new HTC Sense 8 UI.

For starters the HTC 10 will have a new BoomSound technology; HTC skipped its BoomSound speakers with the previous flagship device, the One A9. HTC’s teasers have also claimed that the device will be “the fastest and smoothest Android smartphone”. It remains to be seen if HTC will introduce a more toned down version of the Sense UI, perhaps closer to stock Android. As for specs, HTC 10 is expected to launch with a 5.2-inch Quad HD display and will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor. Interestingly reports have also claimed that the next Nexus smartphone will be built by HTC and not LG.
