Infor has announced plans to more than triple the number of Indian channel partners in the Infor Partner Network (IPN) by June 2013. The objective of the recruitment campaign will be to achieve both geographic coverage and partner with niche players to provide Infor solutions to customers in specific chosen market verticals. The company seeks to strengthen its channel strength in India to increase reach and also effectively position its solutions in chosen market segments throughout India and the subcontinent.
Infor plans to more than triple its number of Indian channel partners in the Infor Partner Network by June 2013 focusing the recruitment drive particularly on partners specializing in Industrial Manufacturing & Equipment, Automotive, Metal Fabrication, Textiles, Food & Beverage, Speciality Chemicals and High Tech industries. The IPN is a global channel partner program that includes a network of people, systems and services designed to deliver the highest quality support for Infor channel partners.
Infor partners stand to benefit from the program’s commission rates, performance bonuses, comprehensive training and certification program and a Market Development Funding (MDF) program geared towards helping partners invest back into their businesses.
Jeff Abbott, Vice President of Global Alliances and Channels, Infor, has set a goal to significantly increase Infor’s channel revenue.
