K Raheja Corp has selected IBM’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution to manage single and multi-location data. The company was looking to implement an enterprise wide document management system across business units covering 1,200 users. It required a solution that would help in the creation of a secured and digitized repository for all paper, electronic documents and email. The company required applications for Web-based access to documents.
IBM’s ECM solutions will help K Raheja Corp exercise control and build related business processes with the document and folder level security at all levels. It will be able to keep and access important documents, drawings, emails and contracts for a longer duration and refer and reuse old project documents as a knowledge base for future projects. The company will implement Datacap, FileNet Business Process Manager and Content Collector from IBM.

These documents can be stored in archives or a point of reference for any future use of the documents. Datacap will help K Raheja Corp capture documents and turn them into digital images, extract information from them, and insert images and meta-data into a repository. FileNet Content Manager will store and manage documents, images and almost every kind of content. FileNet Business Process Manager will help create, maintain, execute business processes and automatically route document images based on content, context and user input. Content Collector for SAP will link documents to relevant transactions in SAP and access them through the SAP GUI.
