Konica Minolta Business Solutions which deals in business and industrial imaging products will showcase newly launched JETvarnish 3D, bizhub Press C1100 and bizhub PRESS C71hc printers during the Consumer Electronic Imaging Fair (CEIF) 2016 in Mumbai, said a statement from the company.
With photo printing market growing rapidly in the country, the demand for higher quality, faster turn-around and the ability to print on a variety of media platform are becoming the norm and hence company is expecting good traction for its printing solutions. “The photo printing market in India has emerged as one of the most promising one. It is certainly growing and we are looking to tap the marketplace,” said Yuji Nakata, managing director, Konica Minolta Business Solutions.
The three printers that will be showcased exclusively are JETvarnish 3D, bizhub Press C1100 and bizhub PRESS C71hc.
According to the company, the JETvarnish 3D is designed and manufactured by MGI with Konica Minolta technologies to help printers expand their services to include new spot UV and 3D tactile varnishing capabilities. This printer can convert regular printed output into high-margin spot UV printed sheets and even higher margin 3D embossed jobs with up to 100 microns of varnish can be applied to the sheet, which lifts the image from the page and adds a higher level of sheen to colours.
On the other hand, the bizhub Press C1100 is defined as a workhorse and company claimed that it can print on wide variety of media with consistent productivity at all GSM’s and does auto duplex for media up to 350GSM.
The third product, the 3rd generation machine bizhub PRESS C71hc brings benefits over its predecessor, says Konika Minolta. The model is more productive, the color stability is higher. It also comes with an optional banner tray to support the printing on media up to 13×47. According to the company, this gives the customers to print bigger format of photo albums. The machine also comes with workflow software Print Xpress to support the customer printing process and cater to wide variety of formats of printing.
CEIF 2016 is being held between 7-11 January 2016 at Bombay Exhibition Centre.
