Mobile phones have certainly reduced the time and distance between people in today’s time. And now the German automaker, Mercedez-Benz Financial has started to leverage the mobile platform to remain connected with its customers and potential buyers.
In fact, the company has launched the Android version of myMBFS app for mobile users in India. The mobile app will allow users to view promotions and can request for quotes.
According to Mercedez-Benz Financial, the mobile will help to expand company’s digital footprint across Android devices not just to its customers but also to potential buyers. With the app, users will able to locate company’s dealer near to their location, contact customer service representative, check for new and current promotions from Daimler Financial Services (DFS) and much more.
Prior to this, Mercedez-Benz Financial already has launched app for iOS devices. The app has been developed by Daimler Financial Services Singapore team and has been customized as per the Indian market. Company has been operating in India for more than 50 years and it has research facility established in 1996. The Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Pvt. Ltd. (MBRDI), is a 100% captive unit of Daimler AG, with strength of 580 employees.
“Designed to help customers in their purchasing processes, the new Android App is targeted at a large and dynamic segment of the population which is interested in Mercedes-Benz,” said Sidhartha Nair, Managing Director, Daimler Financial Services.
“Complementing our iOS App with this new Android version is an important milestone as we continue to develop digital tools as customer touch points and facilitate customer interaction and service,” added Nair.
myMBFS app features :
Promotions – this feature allows users to see what active promotions are available on Mercedes-Benz products.
Estimator – this feature allows the user to specify their own details (such as selection of vehicle, financial product, length of contract, etc…) and determine the monthly payment amount for the Mercedes-Benz product of their choice.
Get Quote – after determining the monthly payment value, the user can request a detailed vehicle quote from a local dealer by simply providing a few contact details and sending an email request for quotation.
Dealer Locator – allows customers to view available dealers in their area, searching by GPS or City. Once the results are displayed, the user can call or map the dealer location.
Contact Us – important contact information for DFS is displayed in this section, allowing users with additional questions to reach out to us directly.
