SUSE Linux Enterprise Server is the first enterprise Linux available in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud (US) Region. Already available on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), the SUSE platform’s expansion to AWS GovCloud (US) provides U.S. government agencies and their patrons a highly reliable, scalable and secure enterprise-class Linux platform for their development, test and production workloads.

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server can scale-up and scale-out to meet system and workload needs. It is certified on 4,096 logical CPUs and 64 TB of RAM and contains the OFED stack for low-latency inter-machine communication.
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server can be relied on for handling sensitive information and meeting defined standards, having been awarded the Common Criteria Certification EAL 4+ and received U.S. Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2 validation for its OpenSSL module, in addition to being an ITAR-compliant solution.
