PickMyWork sets its eyes on BIMARU expansion

PickMyWork, a startup that assists digital companies in acquiring end customers (individual users and merchants), has announced plans to expand in BIMARU states. BIMARU is an acronym made up of the first letters of four states: Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and
Uttar Pradesh.

PickMyWork is an Indian digital distribution network based on a pay-per-sale model, allowing digital companies to acquire end customers,
including shops, for their products at a very low CAC. Major cities contributing to PickMyWork current traction include Delhi, Patna,
Lucknow, Varanasi, Bhopal.

“As the market has started to recover from the pandemic, we have seen a lot of interest and inquiries for our app from the BIMARU states which offer excellent growth opportunities for gig work. The expansion will help us expand our potential with ambitious youth and enthusiastic gig workers. Through them we aim to support the consumer tech companies in their geographical expansion. Also, this expansion and growth strategy is in line with our fiscal objectives, which we are confident of achieving,” said Kajal Malik, Co-Founder and CSO, PickMyWork.

Currently, PickMyWork has footprints in 12 states across India, including Delhi NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra, Karnataka, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, and Orissa. These 12 states account for 90 percent of the brand’s revenue and PMW anticipates obtaining 60 percent traction from BIMARU states by the end of the fiscal year.
