Snapdeal unveils an exclusive automobile platform, Snapdeal Motors, which enables customers to book vehicles online with loan approvals within a few minutes of the vehicle purchase.
Online marketplace Snapdeal has expanded its product offerings by unveiling an exclusive automobile platform — Snapdeal Motors, which enables customers to book vehicles online with loan approvals within a few minutes of the vehicle purchase.
The platform already has vehicles of Hero MotoCorp and Piaggio and plans to offer products from Mahindra, Suzuki Motorcycles and Datsun very soon, it said. Snapdeal has tied up with over 5000 dealerships across the country for its automobiles category.
On this platform, customers will be able to browse through a variety of automobile options and variants, avail test drives, book online, choose from a host of financing options and documentation support. To avail loans at a click, Snapdeal has tied up with Rupeepower to avail loan while purchasing a bike. Buyers can also check their SIBIL ratings as well see the best loans options they can avail.
“Snapdeal was the first online marketplace to introduce the Automobile category and we have witnessed tremendous growth with over 300,000 bikes sold since launch basis our successful partnership with Hero Moto Corp and others. With the introduction of the Snapdeal Motors, we are aiming to take this to the next level and provide our customers a holistic buying experience marrying online and offline retail channels. This is going to be a very strong platform that we believe should clock over $2 Bn in sales over the next two years,” said Tony Navin, Senior Vice President, Partnerships and Strategic initiatives, Snapdeal.
Snapdeal Motors will also provide a ‘Test Drive at Home’ and ‘Door Step Delivery’ option for customers in the coming weeks.
