Stellaris & Entrepreneur First Organise GenAI Hackathon, 150+ Participants Build Solutions for India
Stellaris Venture Partners and Entrepreneur First teamed up to host a Generative AI Hackathon in Bengaluru last weekend. With the theme ‘AI for India’, this hackathon aimed to bring together developers, data scientists, and AI enthusiasts to build innovative solutions for India-specific use cases.
The 24-hour-long hackathon saw an overwhelming response, with over 150 participants forming 60 teams to leverage AI to tackle India’s most pressing issues. The hackathon was supported by Whatfix, a leading digital adoption platform, AWS, a global cloud services partner, and LlamaIndex, a data framework for LLM applications.
The hackathon kicked off with a panel discussion with Alok Goyal, Partner at Stellaris Venture Partners, Soumyadeep Mukherjee, Co-Founder at Dashtoon, Mansoor Khan, Co-founder & CEO at Beatoven.ai, and Arvind Nair, Co-founder & CEO at, NeuroPixel.AI. AI practitioners and technical leaders at the forefront of India’s GenAI domain also joined the GenAI Hackathon as mentors. Their expertise and guidance helped teams refine their thought process and create sharper solutions.

In pursuit of this goal, Entrepreneur First joined forces with Stellaris to host this Generative AI hackathon, aiming to discover and empower India’s most promising AI talent while offering them early-stage support.”
The hackathon presented an incredible array of projects across various captivating use cases, each leveraging Generative AI. Among the standout solutions was an emergency response application that swiftly analyses and prioritises emergency calls, a generative video solution empowering Indian businesses to create personalised videos, a platform for rural India enabling access to vital information on government schemes, and more.
